Rang my mobile yesterday. So much background noise I could hardly hear what the bloke was saying. Definitely a call centre. Mumbled something about a company I'd bought from 3 years ago trying to re-connect with me. Sweetener was a £50 gift card. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Hung up on him and blocked the number.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. It's an automated call like a robot. They said they're calling about a repair iv reported to my landlord? I simply replied no and the robot understood that and just said alright bye. Weird but could trick someone and scam them somehow.
