This person calls himself Advik Anup and pretends to be looking for a wife on matrimonial site.. will talk to you for a few days saying he's from London and is permanently shifting to India.. send you a fake ticket for his travel and then he'll call saying that he's stuck at the airport and his traveller's cheque is not valid or something and ask you make a payment.. when I confronted him, he deleted our entire chat and blocked me on whatsapp.. please beware
SCAM Automated voice, said it was bank security, suspected fraudulent transactions, one from Amazon, one a bank transfer. Have had this before. Checked bank, no transaction had been taken.

It says two withdrawls have been made on your account from Amazon transactions then goes on to press buttons etc. DON'T DO THIS. An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.

Answered once - told him I’m not the property owner and he hung up. Just answered - told him I’d already spoken to him and he just said “nice talking to you” and hung up.

Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.
