Wanted to know mother's maiden name, how long I've lived at this address, debit card number, etc. When I challenged why they needed this information, she said it was for their verification team to verify who I was. I said if they want to give me discount to go ahead - they've got my account and bank details. This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!

Appears to be a scam re £900 use on persons visa card, wants you to press various numbers, I will report to my bank, on no account press any numbers suggested!

Odd call. I picked up the phone and said hello and was answered (by a robot ?) which said goodbye. Methinks an obvious scammer.

01425402443 Has got to be scammers. Number unknown to me. Called my landline today. Pre-recorded message with Female american voice. Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Beware are SCAMMERS after Bank details.

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.
