Scam call, allegedly from VISA - I haven't even got a VISA card! Claims my card (the one I haven't got) was used for a large spend on Amazon (it's always Amazon, isn't it?). Funny how this is from the same dialling code as mine (01454) so obviously area-targetting, and trying to make it look genuine, like as if it's from a local bank.

Missed call I didn’t recognise the number so didn’t answer it. On looking it up I see that it’s rated as a dangerous number so I blocked it

Fraud recording only. claiming that you have a pending case from HMRC and are investigating your financial activity. It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.

SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.

10 calls to myself and my partner continued even though we opted out of marketing from the beginning and after asking to be removed from call lists

SCAM called from this number telling me that someone was trying to use my visa card online for a charge of £900 and asking me to press 1 to call them and confirm it wasn't me. Didn't call them but rang visa and they confirmed it was a scam. I think if you hit one they ring you back and scam you for your details then rip you off !

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.

This person scammed me - had a one off lesson, said they'd pay but then proceeded to ignore my texts and ghost me. Not only did they not pay for the lesson, they also didn't return the books if lent them. Don't not trust them

Call center SCAM – Indian caller, very hesitant English – evidently calling from a very old sucker list, asking for someone who moved out years ago

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
