Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. Had a call from.this number but im pretty sure its been spoofed as it came up with +44 instead of the full area code. Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked. Had calls from other similar numbers too and sounded like the call clicked to be recorded was silent to behin with.

SCAM be careful as this number purports to be from BT and my IP Internet address has been compromised possibly by the Russians or Chinese and could be used for money laundering. When I said I only used Internet for my television he got annoyed and wanted to speak with my husband! Said no husband, so he closed conversation and said he'd call back!!

SCAM said my sky internet had been compromised I asked how much do I need to pay the foreign voice said nothing he can sort if I can give him access to my computer. I asked him what my name and address was he said he knows I asked again what are they and he hung up.

Contacted N/W they advised me it has been flagged as a BANKING SCAM. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform. Or, a letter reccomending to call them to resolve an issue. DO NOT TRUST. They will try collecting personal information.

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.
