This sod rang me at about 7.30 to night. I live in Edinburgh, and I thought it was a taxi company (there is a taxi company in Edinburgh, whose number starts 0131-777), but the bloke, with a very pronounced Asian/Indian accent said that he wanted to talk to my wife to discuss her account with them. As I am the account holder, he was clearly talking bollocks. I have just called it back on my work land line (using 141), and received a message saying I was called today by their "Events Team", who will call me back! I have no idea who these are and no Company Name was provided. I am now adding this number to my Blocked list

had a call from this number today the person on the other end was asking to speak to a person giving the name and that person don't live here when I said this to them they asked again and I said the same no one lives here of that name she then started getting abusive and said why are you lying why are you lying if you don't want my service just say so and then hung up. I don't even know what she was selling I asked her name and company and she wouldn't tell me

Thats a call from the PayDay loan company. They wanted to get their money back.

Pre recorded message re missold payment protection insurance. Standard woffle saying I could get up to £4000 in compensation. Press 2 to speak to an adviser, or alternatively save yourself money and put the phone down. The majority of people could deal with the banks etc themselves thus saving themselves the fees that these claim companies would charge.

This number keeps ringing me but do not speak. they must be struck dumb or they are very ignorant.Who ever receives this number ignore it

After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling.
