Text message claiming to be DPD but as I regularly receive messages from them I recognise this as a scam. The link is not in correct DPD format

SCAM - I received an evident scam or fraud SMS text from this number on 30 June 2023, with a quite convincing message beginning “Morning mum”, and asking me to message back on another UK mobile number. Interestingly, RF President Putin was reported to be visting Dagestan [where this phone number originates?] yesterday.

Call from supposed local exchange and when answerphone cut in automated message informed me money had been taken from my card and to press 1 to contact them. Obvious scam as have had identical message from various numbers over the past year.

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!

This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.

Cold called me and said I had asked for a home owner loan - I had not. When challenged there was an excuse ready regarding a re-dial but this did not seem remotely plausible. I suspect it’s a Phishing/Finance scam - please beware!

Scam! I received a call which started with a voice message saying that if I wanted to avoid legal action I had to speak to an operator immediately. The woman I spoke to said her name was Agent Sophine and she was part of the investigation team, even though she kept changing the name of her department. She was very aggressive and spoke very fast. **SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

This number rang me yesterday. It was a recorded message saying money had been taken from our account by Amazon and also a money transfer. It then rang off. This is a scam number. DO NOT ANSWER IT. I HAVE NOT HAD A MONEY TRANSFER AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY MONEY TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT FROM AMAZON...BEWARE !!!!!!!
