SCAM this number is made to look like a local (to me) number which is why I answered. Automated voice saying that two unauthorised transactions had been made on my card and that I should press 1 to talk to an agent. Please don't fall for this scam.

the caller took a long while to respond and when she did she spoke with a very heavy foreign accent. She used the wrong name when she asked to speak to us so I put the phone down.

He did not use my name or say what domestic appliances he wanted to talk about, or why he wanted to talk about them. What sort of weirdo rings strangers and tells the he wants to talk about domestic appliances?

These guys are chasing a debt from a credit card agency of 20 years old It was never a CCJ and therefore the 6 year rule applies I will continue to ignore them as they are obviously chancers who have bought a dept for pennies with the hope you will cough up when you are lawfully not now liable

Spam caller. Phone rings and when you answer it sends a SMS saying you missed a call and asking you to call them on 901 (has a link in it to dial direct - which I didn't).
They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. The unknown number had called a few times. In the end I answered the call and it was to do with Bitcoin so I hung up.

A guy with an Indian accent told me something about some crypto trading I supposedly did. I suspected a scam and hung up on him.
Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Claims to be from Amazon prime, Option 1 gets through to a call handler who is rather abusive when challenged
They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

I am waiting for a call back from 111 since yesterday evening. I have had 2 calls from this number since, which disconnect when I answer the 'phone so I expect its just NHS telling me they are too busy to get back to me. I was rung late evening and early this morning (just after 6 am). Fotutately I was already awake!
