Calling on behalf of local energy company he said. Sounded real but then realised it was a recording when I asked a question and he just carried on talking, with no reaction. Had previously answered when asked who he was calling on behalf of. Brummie accent.

Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

I was called by this number 09:34 on 03 July 2023. It was an autodialer with an American accent telling me I had returned an HMRC envelope and now further action would be taken if..... Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!
This would appear to be a scam as apparently called by banks fraud department But why would the bank be calling from Germany
I don't know who call me from the number 03333393319. I don't know anyone with this number. The system in my phone classified it as 'Potential Fraud' I blocked it.

Automated tell me apaymant of £900 was about to leave my visa debit card and to press1 to stop payments, I don't have visa debit card.
The number is Ideal World shopping. I placed an order and they called to sell me more. While not a wanted call its not a scam.
They tried ringing twice -line so bad I couldn't really catch what the person was saying .. but it was something about "thousands of pounds" .. so I'm assuming this was a scam-type call.
