Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

Like others have said, AO.com trying to sell extra coverage for the appliance. I d seen here that s what they were doing but answered in the end as I was worried they might not deliver it if I didn t, since people had said they asked delivery details. In the end they just repeated what the website had said already regarding the delivery, and then pushed quite hard on the extra coverage, which I really didn t want - I bought from AO.com to save money, not spend extra! Scammer. Called advising he was from Microsoft Technical Support and i had a virus on my pc ect. Told me to press windows sign and R and asked what do i see. Told him nothing. Had him going round in circles for 20 minutes before telling him my pc wasnt switched on. He then told me i was a timewaster haha kept the idiot from bothering somebody else for 20 minutes if nothing else

As with other responders, the caller tried to imply that there were changes to my domestic insurance cover but no worries, they could fix it for me. Did I have a pencil and paper ready? When I pointed out that I get daily nuisance calls so put the request in writing, the line went dead. im registered with TPS but what s the point - it makes no difference!
