Received a call from bank security team (doesn't happen) alleging fraudulent card use. Nothing showing in my online banking. FURTHERMORE At no point on the recorded call did the give my banks name. BEWARE

Another pretend "Microsoft Technical Department" call. An obvious scammer and the phone number spoofed. The call seemed to come from a call centre with Asiatic voices.

Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.

0207 9245544 - this number is a scam!!! Called me twice, I didn't answer as didn't recognize the number. I then googled the number and it's some motability Volkswagen thing in London. I called them four times trying to find out why they called me - they are rude and refuse to tell me why they called me!!! Instead, they demanded my name and then started the sales pitch! Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. It feels like a text that is trying to elicit a response and leading to a scam/spam.
This is a number used by people dealing in so-called trading not recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). They use false advertising incl. British celebrities to steal thousands of pounds from UK citizens. They are scammers to put it mildly and not to be trusted!!!
Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back.
