I have been having problems with it but I’m aware of phony callers pretending to be providers - BT not any of the other providers would call you out of the blue so they hung up on me lol - thought you were supposed to be helping me with an issue? Fraud SCAM Fraud they claim to be offering a mobile phone deal but then try to access your account by getting the one time pin for your current provider and asking your security question answer.

SCAM - I received a call from this number. On answering, was an automated message saying that two transactions including one from Amazon had been attempted on my card. One for £300 and one for over a thousand pounds. Checking my bank shows no such attempts. This is a brazen attempt at Fraud.

I am disturbed by this number, they just want to hear what is your name, they come up with a strange story and immediately hang up.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! TAXES / HMRC number called with an automated message saying they were from HMRC and there were mixalcukations in my tax which could result in my passport being suspended, and to select an option to speak to someone. I Che ked tge number and it came up as Russian Federation Pyatigarsk. Don't fall for it!

Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

Called using my name and asked about a website domain apparently registered to me, without giving any details of who they were. Ended the call immediately.

Blag rang it back several times can tell from the first message that comes up its a scam and when Ive rang back all sounds like members of the same family amp having rang the real Scottish power over several times for different reasons I know the actual Scottish power numberampvoicemail block this if it calls you its very high risk in my opinion

SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

Fraud Phoned me to ask my name age and marital status

My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.

This is scammer asking to access your computer

The man has an Asian accent and says that because I have not had any call outs for my heating within the last year they are going to reduce my monthly payments to £24.99 and then puts me onto his manager to sort out the paper work, etc. The manager comes on, he also has an Asian accent and says just to clarify things to give him my Bank sort code number. I immediately said no and hung up. definitely a scam, please do not give them any information regarding your bank details.
