Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. I received a call from someone who said they were from BT and that they had detected that my BT landline had a low broadband speed... This is unlikely as I don't use BT!!!! This is obviously a scam. Checked the 01322225284 number that came up on my display and found that the caller was phoning from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge, UK! Beware, do not give personal or banking details!!!!

This a number used by BikeSure Insurance Company that provides my motor bike insurance and is part of the Adrian Flux Group.
SCAM Robot Dialer, with recorded piffle about being from "VISA" and trying to confirm a £300 payment to Amazon and an International Money Transfer of £1000. eventually got an Indian speaker who was qute surprised when i asked her for the Passcode. Then hung up. Tried to report to Action Fraud, but they are only interested if you have lost money, and it is by Email or to a Mobile Number.
Scam loan company asking about an application I made, advised the caller that no application was made and asked him to have my number removed from the system, he instead tried to convince me to apply for a loan instead.
Information The caller offered a free inspection of the nature of loft insulation claiming that some types of insulation were hazardous. I declined the offer.
