Life assurance company. Told them I was registered with TPS and they apologised and said wouldn't call again.

Came up on my phone as "Potential Fraud"

She claimed that she s from an insurance company of sort, and said that my car was involved in a car accident. I don t even have a car.

This scammer (from an Indian call centre by the sounds of it) keeps bombarding me with unsolicited offers of a "discomfort payment" following a car accident. Because I will have nothing to do with such fraud they keep calling me back. I am on TPS.

This person asked to speak to me - I asked who was calling & she put the phone down - I called back using 141 & the number is now unavailable - Very strange

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. Screen said it was from Leeds. didn't answer and it stopped before the answer message cut in.

I rang the 0800 number below and although Nena Patel doesn t work their any longer , I spoke to a very helpful man called Alex who listened carefully and checked which survey I was being called about. He then took my number off the list and said I would no longer receive calls about that survey. I then asked him if I could have my name removed from all future surveys and he said he would put my number on their exclusion list which would stop any calls except for government surveys and anything I may have si

As with other responders, the caller tried to imply that there were changes to my domestic insurance cover but no worries, they could fix it for me. Did I have a pencil and paper ready? When I pointed out that I get daily nuisance calls so put the request in writing, the line went dead. im registered with TPS but what s the point - it makes no difference!
