They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

Silent call telephone 01216636185 - phoned my disconnected mobile which still allows incoming calls. I answered the number and they disconnected. Phone number is located as a landline number based in Birmingham!

Beware...pre-recorded message left on my answerphone about "money transfer service and to be aware of scams" very strange, do not reconize number. Consider this a scam.

Automated call from American sounding lady informing me that an overseas surcharge had been made on my Paypal account for £199 - press 1 to pay the surcharge or press 2 to speak to customer service. Put the phone down at this point and blocked the number.
