I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

When told I work full time, received a copy and pasted answer about it being home-based which can be done at my convenience. Definitely not trustworthy.. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. SCAM Automated call from 'Bank Security' saying payments had been taken from my card, one of £300 to Amazon and one an International Transfer of £1,100 (figures approximate). Call sent because, "I had never used these services before." An invitation followed to Press 1 or 2 to cancel or speak to an advisor. Looks like a genuine number from my geographical area. I did not press any digits, hung up and did not attempt a call-back. Perhaps a spoofed number - potentially dangerous.
