Another idiotic company - block

This is Scottish Power and they don t leave messages. They have been trying to contact me since I told them I was leaving to go to another provider. When you try to call the number back the phone is always engaged. I must get 3 or 4 calls each day but don t answer as I have number recognition and don t want to speak to them. They can call for ever but they are wasting their time.

As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).

Just received this incoming number.
nUnfortunately the answering machine was off. 
nDid not return the call.

They called me,I didn't answer,coz I do not know the number,probably spam.

offering discount of up to ?300 on replacement windows Couldn t tell me what that would cover, nor what initial cost that discount would be based on. Knows about the telephone preference scheme but is ignored by the cold-call staff.

I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. Seems like a legitimate offer even if it s not a very good one! Telesales asking companies whether they want to be advertised on the NHS s intranet as prefferred companie

Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.

Athough called approx 3or 4 pr day for about 2 weeks now, they still ring. No idea who they are, so annoyed they continue to attempt to call. I did try to call the number to find out who it was, but received the message that the number had been blocked.
