Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. I rang this number twice and the recording said if you are listening to this message your number has been successful bit worried as i dont normally answer or ring back

Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.

Silence on landline then very difficult to understand speech which I think said "you have a problem with.." I said I beg your pardon? and their phone went down. Suggests scammer tho unusual on uk 01 landline number.

I asked bupa for a quote but found a better quote but they won t stop calling me!

I was unable to answer the call, as I was on a video call, but this number seems to have become highly active this morning (10/11/2021), and has been labelled as a scam call on other number look-up sites.

Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! I don?t have any issues with HMRC, I don?t pay tax due to working part time and don?t claim benefits so know this is not a genuine call!! Don?t be fooled! The number comes up as Glasgow!
