Claimed to be from UK something but it was clearly an Indian call center as you can hear them all in the background. Strange how they say they are not selling anything but then won't let you speak at all so they can read thier script. So just hung up and cut him off and blocked the number.

They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.
Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.
Had miscall from this number, when I called back, some guy asked am I mr Jones, when I said no he started about some energy grant. Seems just like another scam- blocked now
