Scam caller - claimed to be from Virgin. I kept them on the line for a while then when I told them I was aware they were a scammer they immediately became very abusive. Vulnerable people could be taken in.

Incredibly rude asian sounding man told me he was ringing from the citizens advice bureau about my unsecured debts. Asking for someone with a different name, informed him three times that wasn't my name but he kept talking over me. Told him I didn't have any unsecured debts he then asked me if I was dropped on my head as a child because I was a liar and obviously stupid. Absolute bunch of time wasters.

Received a call from 01156772574, they claimed to be from Virgin media and offered a contract renewal for a Samsung S23 unlimited texts/mins and internet all for £25/month. Please whatever you do, do not give your financial details to these Indian scammers! They are using an IP phone network to impersonate Virgin media and try to obtain your account details and the long number on your credit/debit card! Scam call, allegedly from VISA - I haven't even got a VISA card! Claims my card (the one I haven't got) was used for a large spend on Amazon (it's always Amazon, isn't it?). Funny how this is from the same dialling code as mine (01454) so obviously area-targetting, and trying to make it look genuine, like as if it's from a local bank.

They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name
