I asked for proof and was assured they had proof, when I said my wife had died years ago they could not progress their payment request, as any debt had ceased. I should have progressed further before reporting my wife had died.

This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. Someone call me this number offer a job in Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort In NORTHUBERLAND, with the name of Mr. Hill Mark.
Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
I received a call from this number 01793 540172, claiming that he is from EE and that there is a promotion going to reduce my monthly mobile bill and again he phoned up with another number 01997 617576. I checked with EE and there is No promotion at the moment. they are scammers.

Colder Caller DBS - Direct Business Solutions taking advantage of the current affairs with Ukraine to try and sell utility business solutions. I said several times politely to take our number off the call list, asked to speak to the right person, I said no they wouldn't be interested and to again take the number off their list, said the managing directors name and again stated we we were not interested. He was very cocky, rude and would take no for an answer so cut him off.
I rushed to the phone but just caught one word..."Goodbye". I find it odd that it rang off so quickly. Tried returning the call, but no answer as it was busy. Scam more likely.
Continuously keeps trying to contact me. Starts an automated voice, explaining something to do with an emergency alert not being set up on my phone. Probably a scam, definitely block and ignore.

Fraud Attempting to gain banking details, after stating there had been unusual activity on my bank account. I had checked my account this morning , knew it to be untrue so cut off the call. they tried to ring twice more in 10 minutes but declined, then blocked. My bank unaware so reported to Action Fraud.
