Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

SCAM He goes like: "Sir, I'm calling from your sim card provider" offering some discount on god knows what. Had to ask him 3 times which company is he calling from, to then try his luck with O2. It became very apparent that it's a scam
said his name was 'jai' or something similar sounding. asked if I do marketing then my ethnic background. said he needed help with google. Told him I don't deal with google, he claimed no available help at google. when I said I can't help with google and to contact them, he said only 'he can set his password'. Said I was being 'funny about it and told me I was weird'. blocked the number.

Started by asking to speak to the business owner which ia a red flag for me then claimed to be from google, back down when queried and said they were a partner, then becamse abusive when I asked them to not call again. Blocked

This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. Every day for past 10 days same number has called usual twice a day around same time each time. They haven’t ever left a message on voicemail. I haven’t ever answered. I’m wondering how long before they give up trying my number

The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.

Early morning call; the caller claimed to be from amazon asking about an iPhone order(never made) and said someone must have used my details. They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. A rude, aggressive person called Stephanie Holland rang me, claiming to be from Metanoia Institute.
Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.

Foreign woman, called my mobile and started asking questions about my business insurance. Told her shed called a private mobile number and she said she wasnt allowed to call those then hung up.
Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. I said "I just spoke to you guys and you said you'd email us" then hung up o him. nuisance callers!
