To say that the phone number is localised to Plymouth is laughable, first an automated service saying it was a message from Chinese royal mail, then proceeded to talk in Chinese so had no clue what was being said.

So I asked her for my ID and I would check it and ring Microsoft back. She came up For all sorts of resins so I hung up She rang back and my husband answered and said he didn’t know anyone. Received a dropped call at 12:43 on 7/11/17. Added it to my blocked caller list on Plusnet Protect.
SCAM they want your sort code and bank account number to stop scam phone calls at a one off cost of £183:99, they call themselves DATA COMPLIANCE and give you a telephone number for Cardiff 0292 000 8716. They started getting very angry when i asked them to supply paperwork and she was shouting at me down the line....which was when i hung up.
Not weird, it s a standard UK mobile number format. Doesn t mean it s genuine, though.

Fraud. Called by this number pretending to be the HMRC in the UK advising me that my name had been used for a fraud case and that if I didn't follow the instructions a warrant would be put out for my arrest. Obviously fraud as HMRC don't operate like that.
