SCAM Hmrc call about going to jail.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

I am getting death threats from this number.

Claim to be form Financial Services Authority and there is a frozen account in my name, a bitcoin account. Want to transfer funds back to me and close the account. I haven't invested in bitcoin so told them to trace where money came from and pay it back to that account. So obvious that it is a scam to get your bank details.

Call is from Vietnam, as with all 0843, it hangs up don’t call it just block it and delete it.

Scam call from India. Automated message with American accent saying they are from HMRC and they legal action is filed against you blablabla. When you hold the line you speak to some Indian in an Indian call center. Cheap scam, wonder who would still falls for bullshit like this.

This guy claims to a decorator may be he is, Nevertheless he hacks into peoples phones especially women, he must get some sort of kick out it. Be mindful if you receive a meme or messages via WhatsApp from him, suggest you delete it straight away and block him. In addition, if you receive a message/meme from a contact in your phone that they normal would not send delete it. Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

SCAM or fraud. I was called by this number it was an automated call. Said calling from I'm sure it said Aviva fraud or something department. Re 2 payments made 1 to Amazon & 1 to somewhere else. So to confirm them by pressing 1 I did not do that & after 10 seconds or so it went dead. I only have insurance home/ contents & car with Aviva but done through a good insurance broker. I have no credit cards nothing to do with payments from Aviva to anywhere. I feel 100% this was a fraudulent/ scam

SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE
