Couldn’t understand a word said, as soon as I answered the phone there was a loud fast lot of words rushed out then quiet with no response when I asked who they were. I’m not even sure if they were human or recording, so I put the phone down since another word was not spoken by them.

Thi is the second Glasgow number to phone me today about alleged charges on a visa card to Amazon and an international agency. On phoning back, the number is unobtainable, and I assume a banking scam.
Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Bot call to check if person behind number is real, got call most likely due to being spam called recently from known scammers. Calls, when answered, will keep connection alive until you say something, then hangs up. Most likely records what you say to then give to other members of scam organizations that will most likely cold call to scam further.
