Text message scam - allegedly from Royal Mail 07871 180534 is a mobile number operated by Telefonica UK Limited
Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.

Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. SCAM This person rang me 3 times one after the other. He said he was from an investment firm and I stopped his spiel as soon as I heard that. He became extreme belligerent when I told him I wasn't interested and to remove my details from his list. I ended the call and he had the audacity to keep ringing me even though I kept rejecting his call!

Claims to be from Amazon about Amazon prime - to discontinue press 1. As this is not showing as an Amazon phone number then suspect it is an attempt at fraud. Also noticing that the number is the same as my number except the last 3 digits are different so could this be a way to mask the actual mobile number?
