I answered. A guy speaking in Russian was talking, with a lot of background noise. I hung up. Probably scammer.

Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

Received text message from this number claiming to be from the mobile server Three - saying there was a problem regarding my payments and provided a link for further information. This is a spam call.
This number called my mobile, said nothing for about 10 seconds, then hung up. I left it 10 minutes before calling the number back from my mobile, withholding my number. It's comes up invalid number. So whoever is calling from this number is upto no good!!
Fraud Just got a call from this number it was a recorded message telling me about unusual activity on my account i.e Amazon £300.00 and another one for £1000.00. Hence I hung up.

The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. Was an answerphone recording telling me I owed money to the Tax office. I blocked the number as I'm sure HMRC don't use mobile phones to make calls, and will find a conventional method of contacting me rather than a dodgy auto service.
