Fraud Attempting to gain banking details, after stating there had been unusual activity on my bank account. I had checked my account this morning , knew it to be untrue so cut off the call. they tried to ring twice more in 10 minutes but declined, then blocked. My bank unaware so reported to Action Fraud.
They are claiming to be B.T.
Fraud the user of this number is posing as being from o2 and offering discount packages on contracts. They even sent me a txt with a pin code to access my account. This is a fraudulent call

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
Got a call from this number on my mobile. Didn't answer as I don't know who'd be ringing me and I don't know anyone from Congleton - blocked the number. Never even heard of the place until now!

If you speak then the line is detected as 'a voice phone line' and logged, a scammer will then call you later! If you don't recognize the number calling - DON'T SPEAK FIRST, JUST LISTEN. If you don't hear anything and after a short pause the line goes dead, then you have just successfully escaped being scammed! Well done. THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!
