Life insurance scam. Calls from a mobile number too, its chargeable to ring this number back.
Lady with asian accent cold called and had details of address. Wanted to sell us boiler cover and that we were paying too much with our previous provider, could not provide us with details of who we currently have boiler cover (we dont have any which gives the game away) although played along for a while for a laugh. Claimed the company was in Crawley and called Utility Care. She hung up. Searches on internet cannot find this company, most likely a scam to get bank details.

Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.

I did try to call the number to find out who it was, but received the message that the number had been blocked. This number called and left a message for someone to ring back, this is KIA motors enquiring about potential business looking for company fleet sales.

Just had this number call me and it was Splashes Leisure Centre in Rainham, Kent who misdialled my number. Nothing malicious at all, but I notice they are managed by Medway Council, so it s possible the number has been used for other things in the past.
They have taken £39.99 from my account and still waiting for my loan which I know now wont arrive. My advise to people is to cancel your bank card at your bank stating the reason for cancellation as this loan company may take further funds. You will then receive a new bank card which will stop them from taking further funds. Had a call from an Indian chap asking to speak to a woman I ve never heard of so I indulged him to try and find out what he was calling for. He said they were a debt consolidation company so I asked who was financially backing them. He said he couldn t tell me so I advised him that the information should be public knowledge and available from Companies House.
