Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

I was called by this number and was offered a 30% discount on the next bill. They had my email address and they asked me to give them 1 time pass code. However when the conversation continued and I was asked the security sensitive questions I refused to answer Definitely a scam!

Claimed to be from Currys/PC World. From a mobile number??? I have had no dealings with Currys, so at the least this is spam (unwanted sales) but at worst could be a scam (fraud) from someone pretending to be them.

SCAM Pretends to be from my bank, without saying the bank's name, referring to two specific transactions - but this is a recorded message! Then they ask you to press 2 & hold - that's when I hung up, I guess they would have asked me for account details. I just checked with my banking app just to be sure.
