Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. I asked him where he got my number from and he said that I had obviously bought an American

SCAM A robot called me, said my national insurance number would be suspended due to imaginary "illegal activities", and told me to press one to talk to an officer. I think it's a scam and so they want to steal the money from my account
Similar story to many of the above, claim that the 3rd party in an accident is making a claim and I should too, very poor line on the one occasion someone did speak otherwise it just hangs up after I answer. Tried calling back and it just goes straight to hold music indefinately.

Number rang me saying it was for an O2 upgrade and when i caught him out on being a scam he kept calling me back from numbers which my phone said was in random countries. O2 would not be persistent for 5 minutes repeatedly calling me from different numbers. Pushy, annoying and fake.

These morons called my work number with an automated message telling me to call them back. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. SPAM! I’ve received 2 missed calls on separate days from numbers ending in the same 3 digits. When I tried to return them both numbers had the same voicemail telling my the number doesn’t exist.
Beware of SCAM calls from this number and similar numbers starting with 0128...! automated call from above number supposedly from Talktalk warning that internet about to be cut off etc etc.

Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! I don?t have any issues with HMRC, I don?t pay tax due to working part time and don?t claim benefits so know this is not a genuine call!! Don?t be fooled! The number comes up as Glasgow!
