got a message from this number and what it is associated with i do not use. This is not the first time i am receiving a message statinf it is from a particular bank, i have been informed that it is a scam and it has been reported for fraud investigations.

Claiming to be from OPUS ENERGY - Had all company details and bottom line of our supply number and wanted us to give the top line of supply number to confirm. Background sounded dodgy so I gave him the wrong one and he confirmed it was correct. He messed up when he asked for the GAS supply number - we are an all electric building. SCAM This number is actually owned by a legitimate person who has nothing to do with the automated calls received, pertaining to be from Amazon. They have stolen the number and are using it to scam people for their credit card details. I believe they have now found a way to generate random numbers that will show up on your call display, yet are not from the sender.
