Why are so many silent calls originating in this particular part of London? Is it always the same area because as soon as I block a number they just use a new one.

This number is one of a group that has recently called me and appeared to be a scam of some sort. I answered and waited before speaking any, and after three seconds they hung up. I ve been called by this number, which I don t recognise, several times now. I have never answered it as I suspect it s something dodgy or something I m not interested in.

Spent ages trying to get a list of all my previous cards/mortgages then promised an average of £1800 per claim, without saying what they were claiming for. Hung up on me when I refused to give my date of birth. Apparently they are regulated by the ministry of justice so I should trust them. Avoid!!!

They call you and you cant call them back! No message left from them either. When you try to call back the number does not exist and it does not connect you. A few of these outgoing numbers only around.

You cannot be charged for answering a call. The numbers are spoofed by scammers and are from outside the UK so the TPS has no effect.
