Robottic call warning about illegal activity on internet account, will eb disconnected in 24-48 hours if you dont respond, press 1 for our executive, 2 for tech executive. Clearly a spam call and getting you to press keys to incure charges on your phone bill.

This number keeps calling me back and only rings for 2-3 rings and when you try to call the number back it says that it's not possible to connect to this number, so it's a scam caller. Be careful guys n girls.

It is not the first time I have been contacted by this caller telling me that he was some sort of energy consultant. A very pushy type, not willing to to give up, even when I said I was not interested.Utilities

Scammer. Tried to sell me a Vodafone contract and wasn't affiliated with Vodafone at all.

SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. BEWARE, these are paid scammers trying to get you to give them your bank details, avoid this number completely. Don't ring them back to see who it was, they have a recorded message and they'll store your telephone number and ring you relentlessly thereafter.

Think it’s a scam as said was my bank. I phoned my bank this morning and reported scamming call. I do not trust this number

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

It's a scam - someone claimed they are calling from O2 Chinese Customer Service center - they even know my personal details (e.g. name, number, email) and say I am involved with sending spamming text so need to file a record with chinese police. They gave me lots of details to verify their identity that makes them trustworthy. However, I reconfirmed with O2 that this is not their CS number - so it's only a spam call. Beware!
