I got a WhatsApp's message from this number, the person was pretending to be my son. The message said Hi mum this is my new number, my phone broke you can save it. I replyed but got suspicious because the reply to my message was not how my son would reply. I tried ringing the number 3 times but nobody answered. I rang my sons number and sure enough he hadn't changed his number at all. This scammer I have no doubt would have been asking me to transfer money into his account. BEWARE !!!!!

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.

Rang today and said he was from one stop recovery regarding a matter in Norway?? he wouldn't go into it further as I put the phone down. No doubt it was a scammer.

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.
