I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL

This call was almost certainly made by criminals. It was received on the mobile I only use for emergencies. I do not give its number out. It did not get answered. It would be dangerous to call it back.

i was rung and told it was BT and that there had been some suspicious activity on our internet recently. I was asked to google Anydesk which I know is a method whereby a person can remotely access your laptop. No way. I put the phone down.

These call Are becoming more and more frequent and even though I have asked to be removed from their database I still Get them I even got a call 10 mins after I had been quite rude to the man on the previous call ! They are persistent and asking for my details so that they can send me a link to a webinar even though I have been very clear that I am not interested. I think it might be a phishing call
