Called today claiming to be a debt management company but didn't give me the name. Was very polite but annoying as he kept repeating things. Fortunately I don't need a debt management company. Had all my details but didn't tell me how he got them. Blocked.

After the worst experience of my life dealing or rather " attempting " To deal with Scottish Power it is a whole new experience dealing with British gas lite ,the simplicity surrounding B/gas is very nearly faultless , enter readings , receive bill online in minutes , pay by direct debit , wonderful the only fly in the ointment on a couple of times my meter readings were not as b/gas expected.

Just answered this number, automated voice telling me a debit is about to happen on my bank account for 900 quid, press 1 if its not me. No mention of details, names etc. Blocked now and have checked the bank, so assuming SCAM. DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS!

SCAM Recorded message claiming to be from "your internet provider" and threatening to cut my internet off within 24 hours due to illegal activity, offered press 1 to talk to someone. I put phone down at that point. Did 1471 and called back - got a private householder who didn't know anything about this, looks like whoever called faked the number.
The pains of being ripped off by these heartless scammers who pose as binary investment company , mine started with a female investor who I became close friends with in a few months after we started chatting , she was nice and the sweetest person to talk to , she talked me into investing she sweet talked me into trusting her and the said company and investing a wholesome amount into this company .By the time It dawned on me that all this was a trick and a scheme to get in my pocket I already lost over $500

I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

This telephone number rang my mum who hasn't got a clue about online banking or the internet. A bloke called James Taylor claimed he was from Action fraud. He informed my mum that she had activity on her bank account that wasn't showing up, and he then persuaded her to transfer a huge amount of money to there account, saying she will get it back after investigation of a few days. Which would be to late. Please stay clear of this number and block them.
