Automated scam call threatening legal action pretending to be HMRC. This number needs banning and holders of this number prosecuted too.

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. I answered and did not speak for a few seconds, this caused them to hangup.

Text purporting to be from Royal Mail and requesting £2.99 unpaid shipping charge - considering I haven t order anything from anyone it has to be a spam

Twice this number called me. The second time immediately after I cancelled the first call. I refuse to answer any unknown numbers and I have not given whom ever they are my number or given permission to anyone else to do so. Seriously thinking about changing my number but I doubt that will solve these unwanted calls.

find that they are only trying to fraud you any which way they can, making it look like a local number to seem genuine. reject the calls!!

although a pontefract code , Chris reckons he is from DFS in Head Office Doncaster. Even stating his postcode as DN6 7NA. He further states, saying there are hundreds of people at doncasetr DFS who could have phoned me here in Shrewsbury despite NO connection whatsover.

The caller hung up after 2 rings, I called back and heard the network message "You have dialled an incorrect number..." Obviously a scam from scum losers.

Claims to be from Openreach to discuss a service issue with my ISP. Wanted me to run a program from a website my ISP has blocked. Scammers??
