SCAM Numerous calls from this number in the evening, as lage as 21:47, advising my father they could repay overpaid timeshare fees, unfortunately he gave out his card details, £4,500 taken from his account, changed his details and they rang again obviously for up to date info to start taking money again, this time he said I would call them back, they gave him a fake number to call back onSCAM

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

A scammer number. Used for romance scams pretending to be a Ukrainian (and who knows what next). Very dangerous

scammers!... automated message suggesting your bank card has been used to purchase goods not done by the card holder. Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. All very open to you giving them more information should you decide to press any buttons and engage with them!
