I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call

Do not answer call from this number it send fake bank text with another number 01143600424 with a ref no ST20f07 contact your bank by phoning them directly and alerting them .

Said they were ringing about a warranty for my washing machine, at £8.99 a month. The machine was not the make I have. They wanted account numbers. I told them it was bs and they rang off.. Be warned.

Automated message claiming that financial transactions had been made on my card this morning. Press x to authorise etc. The message did not give the name of any bank or organisation.

This number is portraying to be a legitimate Travel agency, they have cloned and fraudulently used their credentials. Please DO NOT in any way deal with them. The genuine company has reported the Fraudsters to Action Fraud thanks to a member of the public. Many thanks The genuine company

pre-recorded VISA scam call “press 1 to speak to our security department”

SPAM Sent me an unsolicited iMessage about getting a part time job and put this number in the message as a callback. My number is listed on the TPS register to doubly annoyed.

Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

According to person on other end of call, they were calling with regard to the problems I had logged with the local housing officer. I had done no such thing so this is obviously a scam call
