Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

It s frightening scam saying I ve committed tax fraud and owe them 2200 pounds. Pay now or face arrest court extra fees up to 29000 pounds. Identified himself as Ken Nolan with warrant number etc. Sounded foreign but convincing.

You cannot be charged for answering a call. The numbers are spoofed by scammers and are from outside the UK so the TPS has no effect.

This company have been working on recovering my ppi since 2012, on various accounts/loans/store cards. I have had no problems with them. They have settled 3 accounts for me todate and are still working on a couple. Great value for money as they do all the donky work for the fee that I paid them for.

Another one of those calls where they say I ve been in a car accident. Put him on block. I ve had about 10 different numbers call me in last 6 months doing same thing.

Just had a call from this number. A man called Daniel started to waffle about interest and stuff, I asked whether this was about PPI? He said it was about insurance and the interest and carried on talking about it, I asked him once again whether it was PPI. He admitted it was, I said I didn t have any, and he (rather arse-ily) said "Well, how would you know!? It s embedded in the insurance!" I said "Because I ve never had a mortgage, I ve never had a credit card and I ve never had a loan" He hung up.

Complete scam do not pay them or call them they will promise you work but nothing happens, just keep cancelling and asking for more money which was willing to give but stopped believing them. Called both my mobile and my landline - both numbers have voicemail facility, but no message left on either! If it s important enough to call, they should leave a message. Just hanging up suggests it s some sort of telesales which, as I m registered with TPS, should not be happening. Am vey annoyed!!
