Today I have received my third consecutive call from these people in three days. Each call implied that my computer had been compromised. Todays call was the most aggressive so far. I was instructed to press one to find out more which of course I ignored. I am extremely angry about this call which was quite upsetting - when life is difficult enough at the moment.

You cannot be charged for answering a call. The numbers are spoofed by scammers and are from outside the UK so the TPS has no effect.

I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!
