Had email supposedly from EE saying that I have an outstanding balance on my account. Gave this contact number 03301231105 which is a mobile number from unknown network. First glance email looked genuine. Dirty scam.
Fraud This number claimed to be from HMRC Fraud department and I had just committed a criminal offence!! Needless to say, it is total rubbish. HMRC will never ever phone you, full stop!! and a mobile number is a bit pathetic anyway. Do not respond to this number!!!!

Claim to be Virgin but when asked to prove this they rang off.
As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth. I'm not with EE he wanted my name then offered unlimited for £7 I refused to give any info at all.. I said you're getting nothing and hung up.. And now blocked.. Sick of them using UK numbers.
