The usual scam call saying they are bank security saying you have spent £300 on Amazon and £1000 from overseas, blah blah, the usual spiel. Banks would never do this.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Recorded message to say that I need to verify 2 payments (oress 1,2 or 3). Interestingly it stated my VISA card. I would not expect a call from Russia about card payments, so it must be a scam! Put phone down.

Asked for a person who was unknown to me. No idea who they were. Had a number of smilar phone number calls today but this was the first one I had answered.
This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.
Missed a call from this No. and called it back, told me that my life insurance policy was out of date or words to that effect, told him he was talking a lot of s**t and blocked this number, yet another SCAM !!!!!!

Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.
