I see from other websites this caller has been dialling; listening, but not answering, around India, Pakistan, Germany, Ireland, Britain, for about a year. Not a child - the background voices are adult, mostly male. There is much background noise - pub?

Somebody claiming to be Ethan Hunt supposedly from Ace Investing claiming I had expressed an interest in investing with their firm. Wouldn't give up. Pretty sure he was a scammer but he did know my name, phone number and a (throwaway) email address.
"Dear customer, this call is from your Visa office: a transaction appears on your Visa account for £699; this seems suspicious. To cancel, press 1; to allow the transaction, press 2." I hung up immediately.

Didn't like it when i said i'll just delete my amazon account so no reason to ever call me again. people like this make me sick, trying to scam others out of their hard earned money. this number has called several times saying they are from british gas accounts, I told an asian sounding guy I wasn twith British gas so he kept asking who my supplier wa, I told him I wasn t prepared to give him that information and hung up. I had already checked this number and contacted my supplier(British gas lite) who assured me my account is an online product and under no circumstances would they phone me.
