SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.
Called regarding a shares account, tried to convince us to allow access to our computer. Refused shared access and she agreed to send the web address to access the account, tried to convince us by sending another $350 we could withdraw our account balance of $700 Absolute scam.

Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.
This number appeared on warning that a Trojan virus was on our computer. I phoned it and felt it was a "bad" number when owner answered. I have since had a dodgy phone call to my mobile.

I didnt pick but keeps phoning most days around 5.30pm 6.30pm
I was told that they were a promotional team working on behalf of BT. They offered me a discount on my BT bill of 45%! Wanted to know how I paid my bill. I told them that as BT had supplied them with my name, address and telephone number they should have supplied them with this information also. There was a long pause, then the line went dead. Incidentally the young lady caller pronounced the letter Z (the last letter of my postcode) as 'zee' - an Americanism.

I think this is a loft insulation scam (poor phone line). Female, ?middle-aged? voice, southern accent. Mentioned British Lung Foundation, Perhaps said that some loft insulation is [harmful]. I just repeated that I can't afford it ; caller talked over me then terminated the call.........

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.
