This is probably SCAM/SPAM. I didn't understand what the caller was saying (with a far eastern accent), something about computers. When I told here I did not want to talk to her and hung up, she rang me back twice more, asking why. When I shouted down the phone "Get off my phone, I don't want to speak to you", I received not more calls..........yet.

I rang the 0800 number below and although Nena Patel doesn t work their any longer , I spoke to a very helpful man called Alex who listened carefully and checked which survey I was being called about. SPAM Silent call. Selected it as spam but it's probably a scam attempt. A so-called London number which has now called for three consecutive days. However, it's been 0208 939 each time, but the last four digits a different on each occasion.
Seems to be a legal claims helpline that tries to optimise their call statistics bacause they don t bother talking to you. Even if you call them back, they will hang up on you.

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. They try to get you to commit insurance fraud by saying that you ve been injured in a motor accident when in fact you re perfectly ok. They go on to say that the insurance companies keep a certain amount of money set aside when a motor accident occurs. They reckon they can get you this money and it won t cost you a penny.

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Yes we can check who you are currently with, but it takes time so it s easier just to ask. Sor
