still have no idea why they ring, ARC keep ringing on different numbers

This number was claim as the HSBC Plc London Retail Banking and Wealth Management officer's desk phone (young lady), but can be contacted at 3 am and picked up by a man.

A lot of background noise but no one spoke!!! Was ready to give them a piece of my mind really fed up of all these calls.

Left a voicemail asking me to ring 08457023462 to give a meter reading and provide my full name address and postcode. Missed the name of the company at start of message. My provider never rings so can only assume its a scam.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. Just had a call from "BT". Told me to put my computer on as there was error messages from our broadband. I asked why the genuine BT engineer who visited yesterday hadn't picked anything up. He was stumped - off script. He told me I needed to log in to my computer. I asked him why my computer was needed to sort out the hub. He (Asian) asked me if I spoke English!!!!! Oh how I laughed and said "what did you just say?". He then told me I was stupid and hung up.

They call you about a possible accident you might have had - and keep calling you - they are a pain in the neck!!

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with accident claims marketing.

Called me, when it detected my voice it introduced itself in a robotic voice, so I hung up.

I nearly had an accident by nearly answering them!

CLC timeshare again

Rang on wife's phone asking for me by first name then when I confirmed it was me speaking, she put the phone down. This was very unnerving and they need to realise how people feel when they do things like this. Block them!
