SCAM Fraud 13/July/2023, UK Robot caller, spoofing a local number, (area code) pretending to be from the "Visa fraud dept" and giving a number of non-existent transactions. Didn't bother trying to "press 1 to report."

SCAM Got a call claiming to be from Mastercard & Visa. Apparently I had made a payment of £600 to a foreign country. Hung up there. I don't have £600, so I don't think I'd be making such a payment. SCAM!

Calling my elderly dad and harassing him. Calling on multiple numbers and trying to force him to invest in some scene which he has refused but they won’t take no for an answer, even when he told them he was going to report them they took no note. He is frustrated and does not no what to do. They’re criminal preying on the elderly.

First call was apparently from HMRC after I hung up I called the number back was a switch voice mail. Another call again just a regular voice mail. Although nobody talked the second time...
Claimed to be from my local council seeing if I have damp and mould. I live in Berkshire so definitely not my local council as it’s a Scotland area code.

08009555544 - TALKTALK - Moving elsewhere but getting frequent attempts to get me not to go. Shame they didn't have any other contract options for me from my account (NEVER DID, EVER - month in month out year in year out). I had to leave to get their attention, chronic customer service and I think illegal given, from OfComms rules. Always a Blant - "HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING YOUR DETAILS / SYSTEM NOT REPSONDING ETC ETC"

Fraud - Missed call, phoned back, pretended to ask if I was the job centre, and didnt speak English, attempt to keep me on phone. Do not return call, hidden charges!
SCAM Asked to speak to me by name and then hung up when I confirmed it was me. Possible scam or fishing for info. Number now blocked. Also had a missed call an hour earlier from 02038077025 so suspect same people.
This number called and is an automated service saying it's from the FCA about some transactions on my bank account. Press 1 to go through to an advisor to discuss. I just hung up.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. SCAM some lady purported to be from Amazon phoned about my Prime Ac with the option to pay or cancel the membership and asked to press 1 to cancel or speak to customer service.. i saw it was a mobile number so it had to be fake and I told them i would do it online i tried to call back to find out who they are but they do not answer the phone i called amazon and they confirmed it was a scam

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).
