SCAM - offered 40% discount on my next bill, when I asked who they were they said it was for my phone bill. I asked if it was Vodafone and she said yes, then asked how much I was paying for my phone bill and what kind of device I had - all information she should have been able to gather from my account. Fraud - foreign-sounding caller purporting to be from VISA Security. When I asked which VISA account the suspect transaction was on the caller swore and hung up. I don't believe that is VISA policy or that VISA fraud investigation works from a questionable domestic number appearing to be in Stafford.

Used by fraudsters posing as Barclays Fraud Teams. Really dangerous to engage.

Claimed to be from Amazon and that someone had attempted to purchase about £500 of goods on my account. I hung up, put the number on my BT blacklist and checked my Amazon account which was OK.

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
